In the last month I have gone from driving a righthand drive car on the right (a British car in Bosnia) to a righthand automatic on the left (in England) to a lefthand drive car on the right in the States, back to the righthand on the left in England, to a lefthand drive car on the right (a hire car in Bosnia) and finally back to our trusty old manual righthand drive Ford Mondeo Estate on the right.
Confused? If I see a roundabout I may well drive over the middle of it.

a few days late but....THANKYOU!!!!! At the weekend I will knuckle down an pass it on - thankyou, thankyou thankyou!!
I'd get a bicycle if I were you, it'd be a lot less complicated.
Now if you were in the middle east driving over the roundabout was only made illegal a few years back ...
I am so afraid to back to the states and drive. I just may kill someone in the process!
You lost me after the first description!
I'm with Dan - a bike sounds good. You get a little side attachment for the kids - great fun! RMx
kathryn - enjoy it!
Dan - we had a bicycle in the UK and I loved it. Sadly, the roads of Tuzla are not bike friendly at all, pot holed, very polluted and with some lousy drivers who are not at all bike aware. I miss the 2wheeled transport!
MAM - just pleased there aren't many roundabouts here. No idea which way I'd go round them.
Kat - Usually I find it ok to switch. The hardest part is instinctively knowing which side t he rest of your own car is on. Wish England drove the same side as everyone else, would make life a whole lot easier!
RM - getting back into biking is top of the list for when we get back to the UK - I (and the kids) love the 'chariots'!
good post..keep smiling...http://schoolfine.blogspot.com/
