It's a small small world

So, it turns out that in the office next to Dave's works a guy that I once knew at University. Last time we had a conversation was probably somewhere around 1994. Bearing in mind that Bosnia is hardly the worlds most visited destination and Tuzla doesn't top the list of most visited towns in Bosnia, you can understand our surprise at seeing each other. Just goes to show the world can be a very small place indeed.

That is very amazing. You never know when or where your previous acquaintances are going to pop up!

It is indeed. I'm always meeting faces from the past in the most unlikely places. My brother in law once met someone he knew at the top of a volcano in Indonesia!!

Very small world. I like Facebook for that. You can find links between people that you never suspected.

I am constantly surprised at who you meet. I recently met an English guy about the same age as me. I spent about two days racking my brains as to where I'd met him, but it turns out I'd just seen him on a TV ad!!

On our honeymoon in Tunisia, we shared a table with a couple who got their haircut by our next-door-neighbour. Freaky

Amazing! We bumped into our neighbours in America and didn't even know they were travelling there. You are right, it is a small world.

Totally agree. I guess it's one of the things that makes the world a wonderful place - you never know who you are going to bump into. It seems to happen at motorway service stations all the time.

Momcat - it was bizarred

MH - coincidence indeed. STill haven't got over it.

NVG - just goes to show, you need a memory for faces!

Mwa - I'm not a facebook person, I think I would be too addicted.

EM - Grrr, actors. Always making you think that you know them.

GJ - Gah! That is freaky, especially when you don't want there to be anyone you know.

RS - Really? you must have had quite a surprise.

TW - it is always when you least expect it (hence 4 day old clothes with dried food, unwashed hair and large spot on my nose!)

LP - I'll email the full gossip!

OM - I know what you mean! what is it about motorway service stations?
