The certainly go in there when we manage to detach them from the dog - death by drowning in sljiva. I think many Bosnians would think that was a pretty good way to go!Dorset Dispatcheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10457466586411004146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3519883976018465014.post-9182186578883196972009-10-10T03:18:39.363+02:002009-10-10T03:18:39.363+02:00The ticks like it, do they? Then the ticks smell it, and jump off the dog to go and drink it?

Wow. It must be good stuff.Iota https://www.blogger.com/profile/08507184283437057648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3519883976018465014.post-16085851437724616692009-10-09T10:10:56.228+02:002009-10-09T10:10:56.228+02:00MH - we did enjoy it. Definitely it is something you need to be bought up with. We use it to get the ticks off the dog. The Bosnians are appalled at this lack of respect for their national drink.

MM - Slovenia is lovely. We keep meaning to go back and spend more time there.

TW - It is the same stuff. You could also use it to strip paint, unblock pipes and as a weapon of mass destruction. Particularly the home made stuff.Dorset Dispatcheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10457466586411004146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3519883976018465014.post-91852880086117204602009-10-08T17:47:19.170+02:002009-10-08T17:47:19.170+02:00True boy heaven - it's what we are doing as we...True boy heaven - it's what we are doing as well - much chopping and picking and climbing ladders a few scrapes and lots of dirty laundry!
PS if the plum brandy is anything like the stuff the Serbians produce it can also be used for things such as starting fires and jump starting cars!Tattieweaslehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10723634612274763884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3519883976018465014.post-67942991889884119422009-10-08T08:06:56.030+02:002009-10-08T08:06:56.030+02:00Lovely description of the countryside, I visited S...Lovely description of the countryside, I visited Slovenia a couple years ago in October and it was the same...A Modern Motherhttp://www.amodernmother.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3519883976018465014.post-74173537007572132502009-10-07T12:51:42.026+02:002009-10-07T12:51:42.026+02:00Is that stuff the Bosnian plum brandy? Maybe you have to be brought up there to properly appreciate it. After all you, wouldn't expect Bosnians to like cricket, or Bruce Forsyth.Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00337908246167287241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3519883976018465014.post-2912642829886244292009-10-07T12:07:35.776+02:002009-10-07T12:07:35.776+02:00It is lovley to get back to basic sometimes.
